Hors d’oeuvre of spice cake crusted game paté

You can easily make this remarkable hors d’oeuvre in advance.

Ingredients

  • 250 g game paté of your choice
  • 2 tbsp port
  • 1 cup spice cake crumble
  • 2 sprigs of rosemary
  • 2 tsp peppercorns
  • 4 tbsp onion marmalade

Step 1

Combine the game paté with the port. Form into little balls and let stiffen in the fridge for a while.

Step 2

Mix the spice cake crumble, the rosemary and the peppercorns in a blender.

Step 3

Roll the paté balls in the onion marmalade and then in the spice cake mixture.
