Grilled sandwich with chicory and cheese
A classic with an original twist!
- 1 tbsp butter
- 1 clove garlic
- leaves of 4 small chicory sprouts
- 8 slices spice cake
- 4 slices cheese
- salt and pepper
Melt the butter in a frying pan. Glaze the crushed garlic and the leaves of chicory for about 5 minutes until the leaves start to shrink. Season with salt and pepper and put aside.
Toast the slices of spice cake briefly in the toaster. Put a slice of cheese and some leaves of chicory between two slices of spice cake, and fix with a skewer.
