Spice cake breadcrumbs

Spice cake breadcrumbs are a tasty alternative for a nice spicy crust.

  • a couple of slices of spice cake (for one cup of spice cake breadcrumbs)

The breadcrumbs are also delicious over a goat cheese salad or as a surprising crumble served with traditional game dishes.

Step 1

Bake a few slices of spice cake in the oven at 100° to 150 °C for about an hour. Let the slices
cool off.

Step 2

Grind the dried spice cake in the blender until you obtain breadcrumbs. You can store these breadcrumbs for a few months in a sealed box.
